Due to population trends, the Cape Breton County Economic Development Authority has established the Population Priority.  The Population Priority is one of the Six Strategic Priorities for Cape Breton County as outlined in CBCEDA’s Business Plan and our region’s Strategic Plan 2006-2016.

One of the strategic tactics to address this initiative is called the Cape Breton Newcomers Program. The program offers Newcomers information which we hope will help make the transition to their new home a little easier.
